Summer will be here before you know it and the FLPOA is already planning some new, fun-filled summer activities for the entire family! Mark your calendars now and look for more information in late spring.
Saturday, July 5 – Annual Meeting
We look forward to seeing you at the FLPOA Annual Meeting! There will be a coffee hour meet-and-greet at 9:00 AM with delicious homemade pastries and the opportunity to catch up and connect with lake friends and meet new neighbors. Bring your coffee mug! Meeting begins officially at 10:00 AM at the Town of Chester Municipal Center auditorium. Get updates about things happening on Friends Lake, pay your dues, and participate in an optional raffle!
Saturday, August 9th – Friendly Mini Triathlon and Potluck Brunch
The annual Friends Lake Friendly Mini-Triathlon will soon be here. Mark your calendar and start training (or not)! It’s a fun event and as competitive as you want it to be. Come and do all or part of the race (you can absolutely do just the swim, just the bike, or just the run, and the run can most certainly be a walk!). You could also put together a relay team! Sunday, August 17th – Annual Nine, Wine & Dine at Cronin’s Golf Resort
Registration is now open for the 2nd annual “Nine, Wine and Dine” Golf Tournament! Cost is $55 per person ($25 if you are a full golf member at Cronin’s) and includes 9 holes of golf (4 person team scramble), a free drink, BBQ dinner, dessert, prizes and raffles. Sunday, September 7th – End of Season Social
Another FLPOA tradition! Liz has graciously once again volunteered to host this year’s End of Season Social event at her house. For those of you still enjoying the lake in September, plan on joining us for the traditional “End of Season Social”. Bring a bottle of wine and dish to share! The 50/50 Raffle will also be drawn. A great way to end another wonderful summer on the lake! More details to come!
