Our lake association is now seeking two qualified candidates to serve on the Friends Lake Property Owners Association (FLPOA) Board of Directors for a term of three years, 2024-2026 (with option to remain on the board for a 2nd three year term). Election of candidates, per bylaw procedures, shall occur at the annual association meeting held in July. Candidates must be a Friends Lake Property Owner (or spouse/partner/family member) and dues paying member of FLPOA.
The FLPOA Board consists of 11 directors, who each take an active role in the governance of association responsibilities. They work closely with our membership, the town of Chester, plus many county and state agencies to educate, improve, maintain, monitor and protect the ecology and quality of life on and around Friends Lake. Our summer social activities strive to bring people together, create lasting friendships and help strengthen the lake community connection.
