Lake Clean-Up: Please Take A Walk On Your Shoreline
Choose a day and time that works best for you this weekend to scour a section of the lake, beaches, roads, and trees along the shoreline for fishing line, hooks, and trash.
As a reminder, there are four locations around the lake with fishing line recycling containers. (If you need help finding one, please send an email to hali.holmes@friendslakeny.org).
Let Hali know that you did this (even if you don’t find anything) AND share a picture of your “catch” (feel free to include yourself!).
Chestertown Comprehensive Plan
The Town of Chester is developing a Comprehensive Plan to guide the community’s future growth and development. A comprehensive plan is a long-term strategic document that defines a community’s vision and goals for the years ahead. Throughout the planning process, members of the community will be involved through the Comprehensive Plan Committee, through a community survey, and through public workshops.
